2007 Bay Mare

SB MISS INDEPENDENCE has been a resident at Northstar Arabians since 2007. I acquired her dam, Our Morning Star MO in 2006. She is starting her breeding career as a mature mare, but she is so near and dear to my heart, I would love to have a daughter from her if possible.

SB Miss Independence was sired by the Brazilian import, Sir Fames HBV, from the world-famous stud of Haras Boa Vista. Sir Fames HBV was sired by the Brazilian National Champion Stallion FFamess, a son of U.S. National Reserve Champion Fame VF, sired by the legendary Bey Shah, also a U.S. National Reserve Champion Stallion. Sir Fames HBV is out of the well-known Brazilian Mare Cajun Lady HCF, a daughter of Cajun Prince HCF, from the legendary breeding farm, Haras Capim Fino, home to numerous national and international champions around the world. Sir Fames’ pedigree includes many noteworthy ancestors including Kaiyoum, Khemosabi, Ansata Shah Zam, Morafic, Nazeer, Fadjur, Raseyn, Aladdinn, Padron, Muscat, Bask, and many others, all of which contributed to his success as a sire. He is a prime example of the best in Brazilian breeding.

As we stated, SB Miss Independence is out of our mare Our Morning Star MO, now retired. Morning Star is by a son of Monogramm named OSO Star Maker. Monogramm is most noteworthy for his offspring sired when he was leased by the Polish State Stud Director Ignacy Jaworoski for Michalow Stud, where he sired a dynasty of national, international, and world champion sons and daughters. Our Morning Star MO’s pedigree is primarily Polish and Russian, which lend quality, athletic ability, and substance. Her daughter, SB Miss Independence, will have her chance to carry on these illustrious bloodlines and her Polish heritage.
