Northstars Dacoda Kid beautifully represents our desire to blend the exotic, modern type of Marwan blood with the celebrated western heritage of Sundance Kid V, brought forward through one of his most accomplished sons, PA Kid Khan. In “Dacoda,” the result is everything we had envisioned and more.
PA Kid Khan is one of the most universally acclaimed western sires of his generation and, arguably, the stallion best positioned to carry forward the legacy of his legendary sire, Sundance Kid V. PA Kid Khan was named the 2024 Leading Living Sire of Western Pleasure Winners and the 2025 Leading Sire of Western Pleasure Winners.
The importance of his dam cannot be overstated. PA Kid Khan is out of Kharrea PGA, an exceptional daughter of Khadraj NA and herself a U.S. and international champion. Together, these bloodlines created a sire whose list of national champions in western tack has grown too extensive to count.

Dacoda’s dam, Baahira MTC, brings a pedigree that reads like a Who’s Who of modern Arabian history. She is sired by the stunning Baahir Al Marwan, whose silhouette bears a remarkable resemblance to that of his famous sire, the multi-World Champion and global phenomenon Marwan Al Shaqab, appearing almost as a grey reflection of the iconic bay stallion.
Baahira MTC is out of JBK Mystic Rose, a full sister to JBK Mystic Fawn. Both are daughters of the one and only Padrons Psyche, a world-leading sire whose influence helped define an entire generation.
Our belief in this cross was so strong that we purchased the Region 12 Spotlight Auction breeding to PA Kid Khan. Northstars Dacoda Kid is the colt we hoped that pairing would produce: beautiful, balanced, and carrying the promise of both sides of his remarkable pedigree.
