Northstars Obsession’s pedigree is rich with brilliance, beginning with her young sire, Wall Street B. Sired by the legendary QR Marc and out of Juliah Andrews, Wall Street B was named Arabian Breeders World Cup Bronze Champion Junior Colt and 2024 Breeding Pays Futurity Reserve Champion Two-Year-Old Colt. His dam is a daughter of Ajman Moniscione, an exceptional sire of females, and out of a Justify daughter. Both carry the potent chestnut gene, and there is something particularly powerful in the way those genetics have come together. Wall Street B and his full siblings are striking examples of the result.
Before her sale to Dubai Arabian Stud in 2025, Juliah Andrews also produced such notable full siblings as Duchess of Marc and Princess Juliah, the 2022 Breeding Pays Futurity Top Ten Two-Year-Old Filly.
On the maternal side, Northstars Obsession is out of the globally heralded WR Silkk Obsession. She is sired by Hariry Al Shaqab, one of the most charismatic, emotive, and deeply loved sons of Marwan Al Shaqab. Hariry passed forward a beautiful and recognizable silhouette, but it was his evocative presence that caused people to fall in love with him.
His famous sire, World Champion and global icon Marwan Al Shaqab, played an undeniable role in that legacy. Yet equally important is Hariry’s renowned dam, the ethereal white mare White Silkk. A daughter of the Ali Jamaal son Dakar El Jamaal, she brings the influence of Ruminaja Ali together with the strength of celebrated Brazilian breeding.
Of equal significance is WR Silkk Obsession’s dam, the incomparable Major Love Affair, the 2008 U.S. National Champion Senior Mare. A daughter of DS Major Afire and HL Infactuation, she carried forward the powerful motion, impulsion, and beauty of her sire line through Afire Bey V.
WR Silkk Obsession was Major Love Affair’s last-born daughter and remains a profound gift to the breed. Major Love Affair also produced the internationally acclaimed stallion El Chall WR, by Magnum Chall HVP, whose titles across the United States and Europe include U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion.
