SB MISS INDEPENDENCE is a cherished member of our broodmare herd at Northstar Arabians. She gained the position of matriarch when her mother, Our Morning Star MO, a Monogramm granddaughter, passed away late in 2024. SB Miss Independence will have her first foal in 2026. We are hoping for a filly to continue this mare line, which we love for their gentle, kind, and generous personalities.
SB Miss Independence is a daughter of Sir Fames HBV, a stallion that was produced by Haras Boa Vista, a leading breeder in Brazil. His sire, FFames, also bred in Brazil, is a son of United States National Champion Stallion and leading sire Fame VF, himself a son of the great Bey Shah. Fame VF is famous for his many halter and performance national champion sons and daughters. Among his most noteworthy daughters was Little Liza Fame, national champion in halter and western pleasure, as well as the dam of U. S. National Champion and multi-World Gold Champion and leading sire, Marwan Al Shaqab.
SB Miss Independence’s sire line also includes such illustrious names as Kaiyoum, Khemosabi, Ansata Shah Zaman, Cajun Prince, Almaden, Aladdinn, Padron, Muscat, Tornado, and Bask, to name a few greats, many of which are national champions and national champion-producers.
SB Miss Independence’s dam line is also prolific in terms of national and international champions and champion-producers. Her maternal grandsire, Monogramm, by Negatraz, by Bask, was brought back to his ancestral homeland of Poland, where he changed the history of the Arabian breed by producing an incredible number of exquisite daughters who went on to earn national and world championship titles and became priceless broodmares for some of the most successful and influential breeding farms in the world. Her dam line also includes many noteworthy sires and dams, including Monogramma, the dam of Monogramm, Aladdinn, Probat, Pasat, Bandos, and Salon.
Our hope in breeding “Indy” is to continue these champion-producing bloodlines for us and for future generations to enjoy.
